Full time Academic Administration Officer – Sheffield Hallam University
Job Description
This role is in the Student Records Service which sits within Academic Services, which itself is part of the Student and Academic Services Group Directorate.
Academic Services (AS) is a large directorate, comprising several specialist teams, working together to ensure that the University manages student records and other student facing processes from enrolment through to graduation, while also meeting our extensive statutory and regulatory responsibilities.
In this role, you will work collaboratively to deliver a proactive and efficient administrative service, coordinating and leading a range of processes to assist in the delivery and operation of administrative systems and record keeping within an agreed framework and across the student lifecycle.
You will be comfortable providing advice, guidance and training to a range of stakeholders and will work flexibly across the University to provide customer service excellence.
The role requires good IT skills and an ability to develop knowledge of new systems efficiently, as well as navigating complex regulations and procedures.
The successful candidate will organise and oversee the operational work of an Academic Administration Team, be accountable for ensuring the quality and integrity of data, records and compliance with relevant frameworks, regulations or legislation and will ensure the best use of systems and technologies available.
The successful candidate will have strong organisation and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
