Aimed at providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental health needs, this temporary position is available for a limited time only, starting on the 22nd of January, 2024 and ending on the same day. This exciting opportunity offers you a chance to make a positive impact in the lives of our service users during their stay at the Airedale Centre for Mental Health.
As a temporary Band 2 HCSW, you will play a vital role in assisting our dedicated team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care. Your daily shifts will run from 07:30:00 to 20:00:00, ensuring that you have ample time to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of mental health care. During this time, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our service users, offering them support, reassurance, and a listening ear when they need it the most.
We understand that your hard work and dedication deserve fitting compensation, which is why we are offering a competitive payment rate of £130.25 per shift. Your payment will be made through PAYE, providing you with peace of mind and ensuring timely remuneration for your efforts.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with service users and colleagues alike. Your compassionate nature and empathetic approach will be invaluable in supporting individuals who may be going through challenging times. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but not essential, as full training and support will be provided to ensure you feel confident and competent in your role.
