To support the next stage of growth we are now looking for a dynamic and personable individual to join our expanding team of accounting and finance professionals. The successful applicant will provide support to our market leading Resourcing Team and growing client base. Within this role you will be exposed to a wide range of duties whilst gaining experience in a collaborative and innovative environment.
You may be at the start of your career having recently graduated with a finance or business degree. Or you may have one to two years’ experience in an administrative or finance role. Marketing experience would be highly advantageous.
Working daily with dedicated finance professionals you will gain insights into the finance and recruitment profession and how Hutcheon Mearns uniquely combines our diverse experience and attributes.
Overview
- Develop and maintain regular contact with clients and candidates throughout the interview process
- Assume ownership of transactional and part qualified vacancies from origin to placement
- Prepare project packs for client presentations focused on transactional level and part qualified roles
- Undertake research and generate long lists for resourcing projects centred around transactional to part qualified accountant positions
- Undertake candidate management tasks, ensuring that registered candidates receive regular contact
- Update candidates pots to ensure that each transactional discipline has easy to identify available candidates
- Ensure administration and maintenance of our CRM
- Sorting and dealing with incoming calls/emails in relation to transactional and part qualified vacancies in a timely and efficient manner
- Review job boards and update with specific comments / knowledge and feed back
- Active participation and attendance at selected social and client events
- Gathering and collating information from external sources to understand local market trends
- Proactive monitoring and updating of tasks to ensure that they are dealt with in a timely manner
- Undertaking additional duties or ad hoc projects as necessary to meet the needs of the Head of Resourcing and Resourcing Manager
