SALES ADMINISTRATOR
£23,000 – £24,000 depending on experience
Location – outskirts of Nottingham
Working 39 hours per week (1 day per week working at home)
This is an opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a lovely customer services team. The role will include placing orders for customers both via telephone as well as monitoring an email inbox. This role would suit a friendly individual who enjoys working within a small team and who has experience taking and placing orders within a manufacturing sector.
Duties include:
- Ensure orders are received correctly and delivered right first time for customers to agreed lead times.
- Manage post delivery queries and claims to resolution within 10 days
- Manage customer and price data with 100% accuracy
- Ensure that all goods dispatched are invoiced correctly
- Ensure timely, accurate internal and external communication and reporting
- To create, amend, delete transaction data for customers and pricing and EDI systems
To be responsible and accountable for carrying out the following transaction areas:
- Order entry
- Pre delivery order amendment and cancellations
- Stock allocations
- Generation of billing documents
- Management of post delivery queries and claims
- Understand and reactive/proactive resolution of issues resulting from sales order processing
- KPI reporting and commentary
- Identification and escalation of issues and risks
Skills required for the role:
