We are looking for a Security Officer to join us at our client site in Bradford. You will be working at a Museum welcoming visitors every day.
As a Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Security Officer:
- You are to maintain the highest personal standards of turnout and demonstrate at all times a professional manner towards your team, Wilson James and NSMM staff and visitors.
- To ensure that you are fully aware of your duties as laid down in the Assignment Instructions (AI) and that you have signed the ‘Read and Understood’ statement at the rear of the AI’s.
- You are to comply fully with the Assignment Instruction and any other reasonable and lawful instruction given to you by your Contract Manager, or Supervisor and by any authorised member of the NSMM staff.
- Ensure that you are aware of your duty shifts and that you report in good time to commence such duties.
- You are to ‘Book On’ duty before the start time of each of your duty shifts, or to notify the Control Room should you know that you will be late.
- Must notify the Control Room if for any reason you will be unable to attend for a rostered duty.
- You are to deal with any issues found during your shift including reporting of such to the Control Room.
- Follow emergency and evacuation procedures; assist in the searching of the premises in accordance with set procedures.
- In non-public parts of the museum you are to challenge any person not wearing a valid staff ID badge.
- You are responsible for any equipment issued to you to carry out your duties, e.g. keys, radios etc

- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
