Receptionist – Part time
Reading
£12,480 PA
Join our team as a Front of House Receptionist in a beautifully refurbished building in central Reading! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be the face of our company, providing a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and tenants.
Hours and Salary
£12,480 pa (£12.00ph)
Hours: 8.00 – 6.00 Thursday / Friday (20 hrs per week)
Key Responsibilities
Managing reception
- Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Manage reception tasks including couriers, post, and inbound phone calls
- Prepare weekly reports on site activity and assist with general administration
- Coordinate with security and maintain the integrity of the reception area
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception area at all times
Building management
- Supporting the on-site Building Manager with building related administration
- Managing contractors and ensuring any building issues are reported to the Building Manager
- Pay particular attention to the health and safety of the building
Tenant experience
- Create marketing materials and manage events to foster community engagement -uploading details onto the building app
- You will work as a team to deliver relevant popups and events which drive tenant participation and enjoyment
- You will have a keen interested in local news and what’s happening in the area, keeping tenants informed with the creation of a monthly e-newsletter
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong marketing and Canva skills are essential
- A corporate, smart, and professional demeanour with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to collaborate with a job share partner, swapping days as needed
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations
- Tech-savvy with experience in data entry
