Overview:
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential.
You will provide assessments for people with alcohol and substance misuse issues and with our Doctors, NMP’s and Wellbeing Nurses you will provide case management support and healthcare interventions for individuals accessing the service.

Responsibilities:About the role:
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Manchester and Tameside. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
- Supporting specific group work programmes or workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users.
- Close liaison and multi-agency working with other professionals and partnership agencies including Courts, police and probation.
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
- Provide support for people on a DRR and ATR
About you:
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have an understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with proficient IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
- Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success.
- Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships and/or working within a multiagency system/team.
- Knowledge of effective interventions that lead to reduction in drug related crime.
- Experience of carrying out full assessments and identify and manage/escalate/reduce risks identified
