Job Description

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is Mon – Fri 8.30pm – 5pm, 1 hour lunch.
The post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive, administrative and secretarial support to the primary/community care teams including the daily tasks within HQ and assisting with administrative duties of the Older People’s Mental Health Team. The post-holder will be an efficient administrator who contributes significantly to achievement of the role of the team through provision of a variety of administrative and secretarial roles. The post holder works independently for much of the time managing calls, emails, taking meeting minutes, and managing rotas and diary time. The post holder will also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider Business Support Team as required.
Must show competence in the basic use of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL, Winscribe & EMIS
Must show knowledge of working in an office environment and of operation of office equipment and systems. This may be through formal training or work experience
Requires good command of verbal and written English.
Knowledge of the PECOS System would be an advantage.
