We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join us on a fixed term contract for 12 months based on site at a large School in Wolverhampton. The role is working 30 hours per week.
As Facilities Assistant, your role will be a busy one, so having the ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities, and working at pace is key.
You’ll be supporting the Building Manager, proving an administrative support including FM administration, support in completing PPM schedules, sub-contractor management, quotes, invoices, chasing suppliers, dealing with engineers and anything else in between. No two days will be the same.
What you’ll be doing…
- Providing support and assistance to the site manager with current open tasks on the helpdesk, making sure they are completed on time and closed down
- Provide support with booking in sub-contracts and managing PPMs
- Pulling together basic reports from the inhouse system
- Requesting quotes, purchase orders and supplier information
- Schedule and co-ordinate sub contractors and engineers visits
- Support the site manager with health and safety requirements, making sure we are compliant
What you’ll need…
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to juggle priorities
- Confident speaking to customers and colleagues on the phone
- Ideally some experience within FM would be ideal, but not essential.
