Job Description

Who we are looking for

A Gardener to be responsible for the maintenance of the landscaping and gardens at both our commercial and residential properties.

Supporting our Facilities Department the Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate all-round gardening knowledge with the ability to be self-motivated, reliable and excellent at managing their own time.

Working at both our commercial and residential properties holding a full driving licence is essential.

The position is offered on a full time basis working any 5 days from 7.

Preferred skills and experience

Be able to work independently using own initiative, in all weather conditions.
Have a passion and keen interest in Gardening.
Be reliable and self-motivated.
Level 3 Horticulture is desirable but not essential.
PA1 OR PA6 certification qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Chainsaw licence to Level 2 is desirable but not essential.
Full Driving Licence.

Main Responsibilities

Trimming and maintaining hedges.
Pruning of shrubs and plants.
Weeding all areas including flowerbeds and paved areas.
Ensuring ongoing plant and lawn care.
Planting new stock as and when required.
