Full time WBL Project Administration Officer (ESF) at University of Sunderland
Job Description
Work Based Learning (WBL) forms a significant part of the University commercial portfolio and includes the development of CPD short courses in addition to degree apprenticeships. The ESF project provides a unique opportunity to grow existing provision and support businesses with workforce skills development within the North East. This post is part of the WBL team within the Enterprise and Innovation Directorate and plays a leading role in the service delivery, operational management and system development of the ESF WBL portfolio.
The candidate needs to be dynamic, hardworking and a self-starter. To undertake the role successfully the post holder will be required to work under their own initiative and will have a range of different programmes and will be expected to full manage the operational implementation of the ESF project, multi-tasking is essential. Due to the nature of WBL projects a high level of customer service and attention to detail is essential.
A key focus is around effective development of business processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness, reporting and control processes to ensure the function successfully delivers project outcomes, revenue and targets.
Continuous Improvement skills are desirable to identify and deliver improvement opportunities to develop a high performing project team with coherent, consistent, high quality and effective services to all key internal and external customers and stakeholders, and as such the successful candidate will be required to have excellent relationship building skills.
