Wiltshire Support at Home Support Workers | Casual, Full & Part-time positions available across Wiltshire

Successful applicants will receive a welcome payment of £1300 (subject to tax and NI) for your integral role in reducing flow pressure on hospitals. You will receive £650 upon starting and a further £650 upon successful completion of your probation.
LIVE WORK SUPPORT
Wiltshire Support at Home is a short-term service to support hospital discharges and people who require support in their own homes as part of a rapid response service.
There is a reablement ethos with the service aiming to prevent, reduce and delay the need for ongoing care. The service supports people who have been discharged from hospital and people who are being supported at home by the Rapid Response Service and require a short to mid-term homecare support to enable them to be as independent as possible.

About the role
As a Wiltshire Support at Home Support Worker, you would be working with people in their own homes playing a key role in enabling customers to achieve their goals and objectives. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives. Extensive training is provided to all staff and there are both progression and diploma opportunities available.
We can offer our Support Workers flexible hours as this role involves shifts to meet the needs of the service. The service runs between 7am to 10pm, 365 days a year. We are looking for both part-time and full-time staff. There is a requirement to work on a rota that will cover mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. We offer various shift patterns, ranging from 4 hours/ 6 hours/ 7 hours or 12-hour shifts for those who like to do double shifts.
The North area geographically covers the North of Wiltshire, for example Chippenham, Corsham, Malmsbury, Royal Wotton Basset and Marlborough (Surrounding villages included)
To be a Wiltshire Support at Home Support Worker
Our Support Worker staff would have a caring and friendly attitude with ideally care experience, but this is not essential as training will be given via our comprehensive induction, training, and mentoring programme. You would need a driver’s licence and it is preferred that you have access to a vehicle with your travel time & mileage being paid.
