This role is a pivotal part of the SHARP Programme, which is a business change and Enterprise Resource Planning implementation, if that doesn’t make sense, don’t worry. We are ideally looking for an experienced project support officer or senior administrator for a fixed term contract to support the Programme. This role will be challenging in the breadth and depth of what will be required as you will need to prioritize, think on your feet, be confident dealing with people and capable of making sound decisions. This role sits at the heart of the programme and you will be expected to broadly understand what is going on across the programme, but not necessarily the detail. This role would be great for someone looking to move into project management, or an experienced administrator who is capable of seeing the full picture. The role may be challenging but the team are welcoming and very supportive.

Key day-to-day responsibilities are:

  • Manage SHARP Programme Calendar/Inbox
  • Book and facilitate meetings
  • Update RAIDs
  • Take minutes
  • Facilitate Onboarding/Inductions/Offboarding
  • Collate Reports
  • Collate collateral for Board and Meeting Packs
  • Co-ordinate Change Control Requests
  • Liaising with governance body secretariats
  • Monitor file share structure
  • Manage team contact details, holiday etc
  • General administration
  • Maintenance of documents and tools
  • Become an MS Teams Champion
  • Prioritize and manage all the unexpected tasks that will come your way

Skills & Qualities

  • Self-starter – You get stuff done, you want to be supported, not micro-managed
  • Organised – You can see the clutter, identify and prioritise what needs doing
  • Precise – strong attention to detail
  • Helpful – you are awesome at what you do, others are going to need you too
  • Quick learner – We are big and complex, you need to understand it rather quickly
  • Versatile – you can deal with curveballs and a good problem solver as well
  • Attitude – your positive, approachable and have that can-do attitude

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in a project/administrative based role
  • Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of MS Office package
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Educated to GCSE grade C in English and Maths

Preferable

  • Previous PMO experience
  • Experienced in a structured project or programme environment
  • ERP experience
  • PRINCE2, P3O or Agile qualified
