As the Welcome & Service Assistant, it’s your role to ensure that every aspect of our visitor’s experience is going to be a delight!

What it’s like to work here:Avebury is a complex, and very special place. It is a World Heritage Site covering more than 6,000 years of history. At its heart, is Europe’s largest megalithic stone circle which attracts people from all over the world. There is also an on-site museum displaying archaeological finds and explaining the history of the site, a sixteenth-century manor house and a six-acre Edwardian garden, a National Trust shop, the Circles Restaurant, plus a holiday cottage, a variety of tenanted properties, and farms set in and around the village itself. All this within a designated World Heritage Site!

What you’ll be doing:As the largest conservation charity in Europe we work hard to raise funds, so that we can continue to care for all the heritage in our trust. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to all our visitors. You’ll also be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit.
