Are you an inspiring people leader with a passion for organising and helping others to get things done? Acting as a member of the Regional Business Services Leadership Team, your main priorities will be to lead your team and to provide high level support to the Regional Director.

What you’ll be doing:The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times – you can guarantee that no day is the same, so you’ll have to love variety and working at pace. Whilst your primary focus will be specialist support to our Regional Director, you’ll lead a team of Business Service Co-ordinators who provide administrative and practical support to the Regional Management Team, Regional Specialists and beyond. You’ll help us plan ahead and prepare for future activity and will be willing to be an active, passionate part of our team.
You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to service and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.
Who we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in providing effective logistical and strategic support to senior management
- Confidence to build meaningful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ability to work and act on own initiative
- Ability to prioritise and manage own and others’ everchanging workloads
- Commitment to organisational purpose, cause and values
- The ability to work under pressure and reach deadlines
- Drafting, writing and research skills
You should be:
- Forward-thinking and highly self-motivated
- Exceptionally organised with sharp eye for detail and excellent diary management skills
- Positive, proactive, solution-focused, assertive and curious to learn
