About the Role
We are looking to add a Casual Cleaner to our existing Housekeeping team. These position is based at our College campus at Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9DW.
You will have responsibility for the day-to day-cleanliness of areas of the College campus that are used by staff and visitors. These areas include offices, meeting rooms, public areas, conference/event facilities and Surgeons’ Hall Museums. You will adhere to Health and Safety procedures and practices.
Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills
You will have the ability to work independently and as a team player. General cleaning experience is required. Experience of working in a similar role and environment is desirable. You should have good communication skills and a pro-active approach.
You will frequently be working on your feet. Additional demands for physical effort will be required to carry out cleaning tasks and to operate industrial cleaning equipment. You must therefore be sufficiently fit to perform these duties.
