Job Description
Bridgend County Borough Council’s Childcare Team is looking for a passionate team member with experience of working on focused projects.
The Childcare Team manages and supports the delivery of the Welsh Government Food and Fun Programme. This new post offers an exciting opportunity to support the facilitation of the programme which is running across schools during summer 2023. The post-holder will work with schools signed up for this summer and recruit schools for summer 2024. The post-holder will be an excellent communicator who is passionate about services for children and families across the county borough. The post-holder will work in partnership with schools, local authority staff and external agencies to support the delivery of this year’s schemes and the future development and extension of the Food and Fun programme across Bridgend County Borough in 2024 and beyond.
The post-holder will be an experienced administrator who is capable of monitoring and evaluating projects, with the support of the Childcare Team Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on the services available to our children in the summer holidays.
In order to support the delivery of the programme, the post-holder must be available to work through the first four weeks of the school summer holiday

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post
