Full time Early Years Inclusion Assistant at Sheffield City Council
Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and qualified Early Years Inclusion Assistant. You are invited to apply to join our 0-5 SEND team of Early Years inclusion assistants and teachers working successfully throughout Sheffield to support families and educational settings with the inclusion of children aged 0-5 years with emerging or identified SEND.
You will have good communication skills, patience, be committed to engaging learning and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will have experience of supporting early years children with SEND and a qualification in NVQ Level 3 or NNEB would be desirable.
You will work in collaboration with Early Years Inclusion Teachers to plan sessions, monitor children progress through observation and provide reports as required. You will also liaise with parents/carers, early years teachers and practitioners to share strategies to successfully promote inclusion and progress for children with SEND.
This role is for 37 hours per week and is term time only.
