Full time Insurance Administrator at Midland Heart
Job Description
The Role
Due to a recent promotion, we’re seeking an Insurance Administrator to join our small yet perfectly formed Insurance team! This is a part time role working 17.5 hours per week, over 2-3 days – we’re flexible on the days of work which we’re happy to discuss with you at assessment stage. To maintain relationships with stakeholders and the wider team, you can expect to spend one day a week working from Bath Row, Birmingham.
In this fast-paced varied role, you’ll work closely with the Insurance Officer by providing all-important administrative support, ensuring insurance claims are handled effectively and efficiently, by:
- Manning the Insurance inbox
- Responding to insurance related queries from internal and external stakeholders such as Insurers, Brokers and Solicitors in writing and/or in person or over the phone
- Data inputting
- Supporting the preparation of business reports / dashboards.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate the following:
- You’ll have experience of working in an administrative role
- You’ll have experience using a range of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, with the ability to produce reports/dashboards
- You’re detail orientated, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively, as well as working collaboratively with the wider team
- You’re confident interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and focused on delivering a brilliant customer service at all times.
