You will be based at Topaz Court, a supported living scheme (8 self-contained flats) helping adults with medium to high mental health support needs to build the skills to move on independently. This is a 24-hour service with sleep-in shifts. It is a move on service and so service users are to be supported with the process.
No previous experience is required. We will support you with a comprehensive induction and provide ongoing training and development.
No two days are the same at Topaz Court, but every day is as rewardable as the previous one.
You will be passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives and supporting a changing culture for people with mental health needs. You will support individuals to access meaningful activities in the community and on site, work with families and professionals and support opportunities to promote daily independence and wellbeing. You will provide emotional support to service users, as well as offering support with daily living tasks and housing related support including flat cleaning.
As a requirement of the role you will be working on a rota basis including weekends and sleep-ins.
