The Role
Working within the First Derivative division, the role will involve:
- Liaising with business leads and consultants to generate monthly billings and raising revenue invoices.
- Linking with customers on cash collection and meeting cash targets, allocating payments against debtor invoices.
- Assisting with the ongoing review of financial performance and client account supervision, including billing, cost control and debt management.
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing revenue/expense/cash collection analysis to senior members of the finance team and the wider business.
- Assist in internal and/or external audit requests for the division and support all Group reporting requirements.
Opportunity to play a key role in redesigning and developing the internal control environment post-ERP transition.
The Candidate
- Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), accounts technician qualification or ‘qualified by experience’
- Highly personable, experience of collating management information appreciated.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify problems and offer solutions
- Microsoft Excel skills.
- Team player.
- Flexible and hands on approach
Industry experience preferred but not required.
Location
This role will follow a Hybrid working model. We would expect time being spent in our Newry office during peak times and in the first weeks of employment.
