What you will be doing
As a Training Specialist at IAG Cargo you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of the Training and Development Strategy supporting policy and compliance to attract retain and engage talent and deliver on time solutions aligned with organisational business plan, mission, vision values and objectives.
Some of the things will also be responsible for:
- Delivery of training syllabus to new and existing employees to comply with regulatory compliance and professional competence of roles.
- Delivery of IAG Cargo Induction Programme ensuring effective colleague integration, and comprehension of business vision, mission and values
- Proactive analysis and regular collaboration with business stakeholders to facilitate the provision of quality and on time delivery of services in alignment with business plans and objectives
- Support the creation of Training Needs Analysis and subsequent development of Actions Plans in line with Service Level Agreement
- Consult with business leads and subject matter experts to regularly review the effectiveness of training syllabus and alignment with best-in-class practice
- Ambassador and source of expertise for all training related queries, uphold and role model organisational values

What we’re looking for
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Learning and Development role or similar
- Experience/ability to train/facilitate/coach at entry, supervisory and management.
- A comprehension and ability to apply knowledge and theories of learning practices to a diverse audience adopting inclusive training techniques to meet a learner’s individual needs.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the principles and practices to facilitate the successful delivery of workplace assessments, adherence to standards and reporting
- Proficient in the use of Learning Management Systems to capture and monitor training interventions
- Practiced in the use of a variety of media and techniques.
Qualifications:
- IT Experience – Microsoft Office Applications (Essential)
- CIPD – Certificate in Training Practice / NVQ 2 or equivalent (Desirable)
- PTLLS – (Desirable)
- Forklift – RTITB Instructor Level warehouse only (Desirable)
- Airside Driving Instructor – Advanced Driving Instructor (Desirable)
- Manual Handling Instructor – Pristine or equivalent (Desirable)
