Full time Technical Officer – Service Delivery – Sheffield City Council
Job Description
We’ve got an exciting new opportunity for a customer focused and performance driven, team player to join the highways maintenance team. Our Service Delivery Technical Officer is a new post, crucial to our role in providing efficient and effective highways maintenance through proactive management of our PFI contract.
You will take a lead role in monitoring and reporting contract delivery, working with colleagues to challenge and benchmark performance and stimulate innovation and new approaches. You will be at the heart of ensuring quality handling of customer service requests and complaints across highways maintenance. You will also manage the business continuity and emergency planning co-ordination for highways maintenance.
About You
You’ll have experience of highway or environment related service delivery with a proven track record in developing and implementing operational plans to deliver successful outcomes. You’ll have excellent IT skills; being confident in handling, analysing and interpreting significant amounts of data and be able to translate this into reports and presentations for a range of audiences.
You’ll be able to build strong, effective and influential relationships with our contractor, customers and colleagues, including managing a small team.
You’ll be able to organise workloads, prioritising and delegating to meet deadlines.
