Job Description
To blend and pack food powder blends to a set formulation in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner
Adhere to all Health and Safety and Food Safety culture requirements, policies and procedures at all times.
Rip and Tip, mix and pack in accord with procedures. Record all batch numbers and all other required information on the production sheet. Pack through sieves and if appropriate metal detectors.
Weigh, re-seal and Label up any part bags, with the batch number, BBD and weight
To be aware and work to the production schedules as communicated to you.
To check that the recipe sheets and labels supplied correlate in terms of batch number etc.
To check all plant for obvious faults rendering it unsafe. Report any such faults immediately to the management.
To complete CCP and other checks on the shift, as instructed by the Senior Production Operator communicating or recording the exact time each CCP is completed ensuring corrective actions are carried out effectively if a CCP fails and reporting any such issues to the Senior Production Operator.
To work tidily as you go, clean and tidy the production area including removing unused packaging at the end of shift.
Qualifications
Must be literate and numerate.
Proven ability to follow safety, quality and production standards.
Good communication skills, self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
Must achieve Basic Food Hygiene and Manual Handling Training.
FLT license preferred

£13.00 per hour
25 days Holiday + 8 bank holidays

Up to 6% bonus based on achievement of KPI’s, payable 6 monthly.
