About This Position
Bury College is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas. In addition to over 900 students progressing to university from Bury College, 200 students choose to study a Higher Level course available at Bury College’s University Centre each year.
Joining us as a Finance Apprentice you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to the Finance department. The role is full time and on a fixed term basis for 12-14 months. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience within a Finance environment whilst studying towards your AAT Level 2 qualification, whilst working with a fantastic and supportive team.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the department in processing payments
- Chase outstanding payments
- Setting up suppliers
- Create new invoices
- Assist in preparing monthly reports
Amongst other general administrative duties.
