Scholarship value/duration:
The scholarship amount is €10,000 per year. It is paid by Université ParisSaclay for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and visa expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin.
These scholarships are awarded for 1 or 2 years depending on the admission level (M1 or M2) and subject to students completing the required number of credits to advance to the next year level.

- • Students who have lived in France in the past, within the framework of a mobility programme during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programme…) that did not lead to certification.
Are ineligible:
• All students who have been or who are enrolled in a French higher education institution during their studies, except international students enrolled in a French higher education institution abroad.
• Individuals who have interrupted their studies for more than 3 consecutive years.
• Students holding any other type of scholarship whose amount exceeds €650/month.

UWE Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Students
Brief description:
The University of the West of England, Bristol offers more than £100,000 worth of scholarships for international students each year. This includes the Chancellor’s Scholarship wherein the recipient will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Development Office and other departments. The recipient will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course.

Brief description:

The program will give the world’s best and brightest students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and professional networks through a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing – one of China’s most prestigious universities.

The extraordinary students selected to become Schwarzman Scholars will receive a comprehensive scholarship that will include tuition and fees, room and board, travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year, an in-country study tour, required course books and supplies, health insurance, and a personal stipend.
Eligibility:
Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent.
Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements before August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year. There are no requirements for a specific field of undergraduate study; all fields are welcome, but it is important for applicants, regardless of undergraduate major, to articulate how participating in Schwarzman Scholars will help develop their leadership potential within their field.
Age Requirement.
Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.
English language proficiency.
Applicants must demonstrate strong English language skills, as all teaching will be conducted in English. If the applicant’s native language is not English, official English proficiency test scores must be submitted with the application. Acceptable test options are:
- • Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT). Minimum score 100.
- •International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Minimum score 7.
- • Cambridge English: Advanced (C1) or Cambridge English: Proficiency (C2). Minimum score 185.
This requirement is waived for applicants who graduated from an undergraduate institution where the primary language of instruction was English for at least two years of the applicant’s academic program. The requirement will also be waived for applicants who have studied in English for two or more years at a Master’s degree level or higher.

Therefore a minimum German language level of B1 at the time of application is a requirement, that needs to be proofed by providing a certificate.

UNESCO Silk Roads Youth Research Grants for International Students in USA
To mobilise young researchers for further study of the Silk Roads shared heritage, UNESCO has come up with the Silk Roads Youth Research Grant. It will be awarded for the academic year 2023-2024.
International researcher from all countries can apply for this grant. They must be no more 35 years of age to be considered. Applicants must undertake research in the field of Silk Roads and present a research proposal for the same. On the basis of the evaluation of the research grant, up to 12 researchers will be awarded this grant. Each grant is worth $10,000.
