We are looking for a Production Operative to join our Nuclear and Infrastructure team at our site in Bolton.
This is a busy role where the purpose is to sort materials and organise internal movements from one place to another, ensuring the factory is fed materials, goods in and out, using Ficep machines.
We are looking for someone who is able to organise and maintain the goods in and dispatch areas and liaising with team leaders to organise the movement of materials. You will also be responsible for marking up materials on arrival and passing the location information onto production control, and also loading the finished items onto trailers for dispatch.
You will need to have excellent understanding of Health and Safety policies, and be responsible for pre-use safety checks on machines, cranes, and mobile plant.
You will need to have 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing background, ideally a logistical background. Excellent organisational and communication skills are required.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am – 5:30pm and 7am – 12pm on a Friday.
