Job Description
Check in deliveries and supplies and store appropriately. Maintain levels of clinical and non clinical items. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the general ward areas. To assist in setting up bed spaces for an admission with supervision from a HCA.
To under messenger, delivery and collection duties or urgent requests, specimens, x-rays, pharmacy items etc. To maintain clean and tidy bays by promptly cleaning areas after discharges To relieve nurses of non nursing duties and carry out ad hoc requests.
