About The Role
Working Hours: Part Time, 5 hours per day, 9am-2pm Monday to Friday. Term time only plus 5 days training/clean down.
Number of Positions: 1
Salary: £13,390 – £13,690
Start Date: 24th June 2024
About the Candidate
- Have excellent organisation and communication skills
- Be able to forge positive relationships with both children and colleagues
- Support the cook in charge and other members of the team to prepare
- Serve and deliver quality meals to the children in our school
- You will have good customer care skills
- Promote a professional image at all times
- Ideally hold a certificate in food hygiene although training in relation to this will be provided to the suitable candidates.
- Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
- Clean all equipment and catering areas
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
- Good customer care skills
Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable (although not essential)
