Complex Care Assistant

We have exciting opportunities for carers with complex health care backgrounds to join us here at Almond Care Children’s Services.

A new home will be opening which is focused on children with health needs in the Sileby area.

We thrive to provide a safe, nurturing environment. The young people in our care receive tailored support to fully meet their individual needs, as a complex care worker you will support us in doing so, you will play a critical role where you will be responsible for providing emotional support, guidance and ensuring the wellbeing of the children in your care.

This position will be 12-hour shifts and will be weekdays, weekend and bank holiday work.

Paying from £11.50 to £12 per hour.

This is a great opportunity to build skills and knowledge in areas such as:

• • Tracheostomy Care
  • PEG Feed
  • Bowel and Bladder Management
  • Physiotherapy
  • Skin Integrity
  • Suction Management
  • Administration of Medication

Some personal care, social involvement and domestic chores maybe required.

• • Shopping
  • Light housework duties
  • Assisting in washing and dressing
  • Attending social events

This vacancy offers regular stable working hours, utilising a monthly rolling rota.
