You’ll be working for our thriving Oxfordshire Library Service which has 44 libraries across the county and over 2,400,000 visitors to our libraries every year.
About the role
You will be the Customer Service Adviser at Woodcote Library which is a vibrant dual role Community Library and school library for nearby Langtree Secondary School.
A crucial part of your role will be helping the students get the most from their planned ‘library lesson’ visits alongside one of the teachers. You will also provide assistance to students during their lunch break visits.
The role involves continual interaction with all users of the library – in public and school sessions which can be face to face, via email or by telephone.
As the first point of contact, you will play a really important role in making sure every one of our visitors have a great experience.
In addition to helping our customers find and use resources, this role is also detail oriented and involves performing administrative and clerical duties and organising library material and information.
