As a Customer Support Specialist within our Green Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful operational delivery of our Green Delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass providing excellent customer service, managing customer data, resolving complaints, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Position: Customer Service Advisor

Company: EON (Recruiting through Rullion)

Location: Nottingham

Hourly Wage: £12.08

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Rota based)

Contract: 6 months temporary

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Energy Efficiency advice to customers, working towards an NVQ Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all clients, collaborating closely with your team, Team Manager, and delivery teams.
  • Utilize MS Dynamics to manage customer data, ensuring accurate tracking of residents throughout their journey.
  • Update MS Dynamics with recent conversations and documents related to customer eligibility and complaints.
  • Identify and resolve customer dissatisfaction and complaints within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Communicate directly with customers to manage expectations and explain any changes to project processes or customer journeys.
  • Remain adaptable to accommodate ad-hoc requests from the team and Team Manager to meet evolving project needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including Local Council Authorities, Social Housing Providers, and delivery partners.
  • Proactively problem-solve and share best practices within the team.
  • Offer alternative solutions and wrap-around services beyond scheme requirements, such as ECO4, Smart Metering, and referral to charity groups.
  • Conduct “close the loop” activities for NPS detractors, ensuring resolution of customer issues through follow-up calls.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using MS Dynamics or similar CRM software.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Problem-solving mindset and initiative to find solutions.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about energy efficiency and related initiatives.
  • NVQ Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness (preferred but not required).
