Job Description

  • Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Job Location: Ellesmere Port
  • Salary: £21k

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Your New role

  • As a Customer service specialist you will be the first point of contact for both prospective and existing customers contacting SGS.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently
  • Provide accurate information about products and services to customers
  • Providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilising excellent, in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
  • Handling customer complaints ensuring customers are satisfied, answering enquiries liasing with the internal registration team, record all customer activities
  • Handle Customer Complaints, including initiating the follow-up operational actions that are required to satisfy customer or supplier complaints/requests/anomalies.
  • You will be working towards KPI’s and meeting deadlines
  • Address customer concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate, highlighting relevant issues to internal key stakeholders.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications
How to be a successful candidate

To be a successful candidate we are looking for someone who has previous experience in a customer services (internal or external) / sales environment, who can work both independantly and as part of team. Being competent skills with Microsoft Windows/ Office Applications (Word, Excel. and a minimum GCSE or equivalent with grades A* to C pass levels in English & Maths
