Full time Dispensary Assistant at McKeevers Chemists
Job Description
McKeevers Chemists is a rapidly expanding group of 32 pharmacies, and are currently recruiting for the following staff to join our team in Newry:
Part-Time Dispensary Assistant (24 hours per week)
Duties will include:
- Accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems.
- Handling telephone enquiries and giving advice while referring callers to the pharmacist when necessary.
- Operating efficient stock control to include ordering and rotation of goods.
- Informing customers on all health and associated products including over the counter medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.
- Promoting new and current product ranges using appropriate selling techniques.
- Till operation and money handling.
- Other duties as requested by the Pharmacist to include by not limited to assisting with nursing homes.

**Due to the operational hours of this branch (Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm), this position may not be suitable for students**
Previous experience in a pharmacy or sales related environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
