Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant will provide executive-level support to the Head of Customer Channels. Key areas of responsibility will include managing the flow and exchange of information, streamlining interactions and facilitating initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide a first point of contact for the department & re-direct queries and delegate items as necessary.
  • Ensure effective and complex diary management.
  • Liaise with Senior Executive team level stakeholders.
  • Work with the Business administration team, writing reports, executive summaries, meeting minutes and preparing presentations.
  • Oversee adhoc projects and have minor decision making authority/autonomy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience in Executive Stakeholder management is essential.
  • Key knowledge of HSBC structure and key stakeholders would be desirable.
  • Outstanding planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft software packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

The role is full time and is on a hybrid basis. The role is based either in the London or Birmingham head office and the successful candidate must be located within a commutable distance to either location.
