External Cleaning Operative x 2

Working within the large cleaning department to carry out a variety of daily duties to ensure the centre is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Driving duties are part of the day to day requirements, so therefore please only apply if you hold a full UK driving licence.

Working as part of a larger team on a shift pattern that covers the followings times;

• 4 days on / 2 days off
• 2 morning shifts – 6am – 2pm
• 2 late shifts – 2pm – 10pm

Main Duties to include;

• Litter picking car parks
• Maintaining entrances
• Assisting with environmental incidents
• Removal and recycling of retailers waste from service roads
• Operating compactors
• Operating various cleaning equipment
• Assisting with the sites Winter Strategy (gritting)

What we are looking for

• A competent and reliable induvial who is willing to comply with the company’s Health and Safety procedure
• To carry out all duties effectively and efficiently with accordance with contractual requirements
• Have full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area.
• Working with the food retailers
• Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises and to attend all necessary training to be able to use this equipment
• To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies
• To wear protective clothing (PPE) as issued
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as appropriate as instructed by the Cleaning Team Leader
• Good Customer Service skills
• Team Player

• £9.98 per hour (5% increase from 1st April)
