We are looking for an experienced Facilities Co-ordinator to support the Facilities Manager in delivering the day-to-day operation for a client property on the E.ON account in Nottingham City Centre. The role is a part time role of 30 hours a week, working Mon-Fri or Monday to Thursday. The working hours will be set by business needs and will require flexibility.
You will have experience of facilities management service delivery, be able to resolve solutions quickly and effectively, have proficient I.T skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of CAFM tools, be a team player and have the required experience and skills to enable a smooth running of the contract.
Main Duties
Your day to day role will be to support the Facilities Manager on site and liaise with the wider team to enable and successfully meet the needs of the client and the business. The services provided to the client include Security, cleaning, catering, post room and Mechanical and Electrical.

- Assisting the Facilities Manager with recruitment, training and development of employees of the team, giving directions on roles, policy and process, resolving problems concerning employee’s work performance, implementing individual MiReviews/training plans and formally review to develop them to their full potential. This can be supported by the wider mitie organisation.
- Ensure that all employees are trained and competent to carry out their role.
- To liaise with the Facilities Manager on key operational issues, equipment and machinery requirements.
- Assisting the Facilities Manager with cleaning and site safety audits – ensuring they are carried out monthly and fed into the central report.
- To support in the management of annual leave to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- To ensure that time and attendance procedures are strictly adhered to.
- To positively engage with staff on health and safety matters and act on their concerns.
- Attend all site forums with the Facilities Manager, or on behalf of – and take active role in.
- Assisting the Facilities Manager to ensure total wage costs (including Agency Staff), material and consumables are kept within budget, ensuring shifts are not overstaffed and that rosters/shift patterns are sufficient for the needs of the contract, including maintenance and upkeep of workplace plus.

The ideal candidate must have great communication skills as this is a corporate environment where you will engage with many different stakeholders and our client.
Also:
- Experience gained within a similar role.
- IOSH (NEBOSH –Desirable)
- Knowledge of service delivery in an Facilities environment essential.
- Experience of working in a service environment driven by customer SLAs, performance measurement and personal work targets essentials.
- IT literate in MS Office (particularly Excel), and service desk systems essential.
