Warwickshire Children and Families continues to invest in and grow our Early Help service ensuring we can provide the right support at the right time through multi-disciplinary teams, our network, and an incredible and established offer.
The Role
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Family Support Worker to join our team. Our exciting, innovative and caring service supports children, young people and their families aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with SEND), who need information, advice and direct support. Family Support Worker’s apply multi-disciplinary skills in their work and use restorative practice in all they do. The team deliver a range of interventions, including the Family Support Line, drop-in sessions, parenting programmes, and directly support families on a one-to-one basis.
Key Requirements:
We are looking for people with the following skills and experience:
A solution-focused and strength-based ethos.
- Resilient with emotional intelligence, and an understanding of family dynamics and child development.
- Experience of positive parenting skills.
- Experience of engaging and working with families facing challenges.
If you are an organised, friendly, and efficient person, we have the following vacancies in our teams:
- 1 x 37-hour post over 5 days in Stratford (permanent)
- Working pattern: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 8:30am – 4:00pm Friday
