The role of a Support Worker
The role of Support Worker is a varied one which involves putting the people we support at the centre of everything we do, your job may involve helping with jobs around then house, monitoring the wellbeing of the people we support or assisting them to access their community.
What we need from you
The desire to help improve the lives of others and a willingness to learn are the main ingredients for making a great Support Worker. We don’t ask for specific experience as we will provide all the training and support you need to carry out the role of Support Worker in a person-centred way.
Looking after you
Looking after our staff is hugely important to us, not only because of the great work you do but because it’s the right thing to do! Whether it’s professional training and development, saying thank you or making sure you are looked after if you’re ill, we will be there to support you.
Pay and benefits
In return for your dedication as a Support Worker you will receive:
- £10.70 per hour
- 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part time)
