Cawood CE Primary School is looking for the talented and dedicated

individuals to join the governing body.

The governing body have a very important position in the community in managing and

supporting the school on its very success journey.

We have a very dedicated team, and you would be working closely with the governing

Board, the Headteacher and the teaching staff to support the aims and ambition of

the school to provide the very highest standard of education. This is a very worthwhile

and rewarding position in the school learning community and you would be required

to attend a number of meetings a year to offer your support and experience.

The governors are looking for:

• very committed person who can think and work strategically

• good interpersonal skills

• a desire to help and learn more about governance and undertake training on key areas such as safeguarding
