Housekeeping Role:

Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for dedicated and friendly people to clean and look after our portfolio of properties in and around the surrounding areas, including Saltburn, Skelton, Staithes and Whitby.

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

We have a minibus service running from our Skelton Unit over the Summer Months, providing a new opportunity for non-drivers – we only require that you can get to the unit, and back once your shift has finished.

If you have an energetic can do attitude you will be an amazing fit for us. You need to be friendly, flexible and always willing to help.

Attention to detail and a reliable approach is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly cleaning the properties between guests. This includes but is not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying etc.
• The changing of linen between guests.
• Ensuring and maintaining the presentation of houses for guests and owners.
• Stock control of household basics/essentials.
• Reporting any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.
• Securing the property

As well as the main duties, the role will also include overlooking and managing the finer details unique to each property.

For the right person, additional responsibilities may be offered as the business grows.

Requirements:

• Over 18
• Available Monday, Fridays and Sundays – flexible hours offered on the other days
• Must be able to and from travel to Skelton, Birdwell’s Court for the Minibus service.

Job Types: Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.50 per hour
