Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to be part of the team in Airthrey Care Home. Airthrey Care Home is a state-of-the-art purpose-built care home located in Airth, close to Falkirk and Stirling. Airthrey has a team of professional and experienced registered nurses and care workers who provide personalised nursing care for the elderly, and those with dementia and other health conditions.

Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents’ personal items.
• Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
• Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents

Skills and Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Salary: £11.50 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 24 hours per week
