The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of a HR Assistant in Camden.
Location: Atelier House, Camden, London – Hybrid working
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll administration and other related support, in line with departmental working procedures and in close liaison with the third-party payroll provider
- Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness of recruitment administration and other related support, in line with departmental working procedures and in close liaison with the relevant HR Advisor and recruiting manager.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of administration and provision of advice in relation to changes, or otherwise, of employee terms and conditions of employment, in line with departmental working procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department to provide a high-quality HR service to the organisation
- Ensuring that the HR function maintains a positive profile by supporting the HR Advisor with internal marketing and promotion of the HR team and function.
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is friendly, resilient and engaging.
The successful candidate will have:
- GCSE’s in Maths and English or equivalent – you need to be able to write clearly and have strong numeracy skills
- Customer Service experience
- The ability to build and maintain excellent and credible relationships with all customers – both internal and external
- IT Skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Software
- The ability to work under pressure with an attention to detail
- The ability to work with integrity and confidentiality
- Previous experience of working within an HR Department is desirable
