Due to expansion, an innovative manufacturer has a new vacancy for an IT Technician to join the team. Working at their state of the art facility and with significant growth plans, the IT Technician will support the growth and development of the IT systems and functions.

Salary: £ 27,000 – £ 33,000 + benefits

The Role

Key responsibilities:

Provide support to IT systems and users

Specification, installation, configuration, and maintenance of user IT hardware

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications software for user systems

Network patching, cabling and diagnosis where required

Developing and providing user training where required

Administration of enterprise security software suites

Ensuring the security and integrity of systems by applying the IT Security Policy and procedures

Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Servers

The Candidate

At least 2 years‘ experience in an IT Technician or Engineer role.

Good communications skills

Excellent broad IT skills and understanding of PC Hardware, software set-up, operating system configuration and networking skills.

Experience administering Office 365 & Sharepoint 365

Experience working in a fast paced environment such as manufacturing or distribution.
