Higher Level Teaching Assistant
KS2 Year 3-6
Required from September 2023
As a Values Based school we are seeking like-minded individuals who care about well-being for both children and adults; whilst also having the determination and ambition to achieve the best outcomes for all our pupils. The main focus of your work as an HLTA will be to provide short term whole class cover for teachers during PPA or planned/unplanned short-term absences. In addition, your role will include supporting the learning and assessment of children in agreed classes.

As an HLTA you will need:
 Good literacy and numeracy skills
 Previous experience as a teaching assistant
 High expectations of yourself and the children with whom you work
 Dedication, energy and a commitment to working hard
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills
 Flexibility and a good sense of humour!

Visits to our school are encouraged so that you are able to see our well-resourced setting for yourself.
