Leicestershire Adult Learning Service invites applications for the post of Multiply Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of the Multiply Project. Multiply is a national numeracy campaign being delivered in Leicestershire by Leicestershire County Council’s Adult Learning Service. The project will receive around £2.9M of funding over 3 years until March 2025, to deliver numeracy interventions to adults aged 19+ in innovative and creative ways.

The successful applicant, will support

• the delivery of the project by promoting the service, engaging with hard to reach learners and communities and liaising with employers and partners.
• with procurement, data collection and support the implementation and monitoring of contracts.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in new and creative ways, with the opportunity to develop numeracy provision across Leicestershire in partnership with other organisations and learning providers.

Leicestershire Adult Learning Service, judged good (Grade 2) by Ofsted in February 2018, provides Community Learning and Adult Skills programmes for adults at venues throughout Leicestershire.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• NVQ Level 4 or demonstrable experience
• Knowledge/ideas of how to effectively promote a range of products/services to diverse communities
• Competent in establishing, developing and/or maintaining networks and professional working relationships with a wide range of individuals, communities and organisations to benefit the client group
• Shares own knowledge, learning and experience to help the team/customers achieve its objectives
• Communicates effectively, appropriately and confidently to individuals, small groups and large audiences
• Encourages, values and responds constructively to new and creative ideas
