As a security officer for G4S, variety is guaranteed. Your day-to-day duties will adapt to meet the demand of the business and will ensure no two days are exactly the same.
You’ll ensure the safety of our customers and clients at a science park in Liverpool. You will join the team on a 55 hpw contract providing support to the customers and clients on site.
We are looking for enthusiastic security officers to join us on a full-time permanent basis in Liverpool. You will benefit from a guaranteed 55 hpw, on a fixed shift pattern to cover days, nights and weekends.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Previous experience in security is not a must for this role as we are able to provide full SIA training to the right candidates. Whether you have experience working in the security sector, or are looking for a fresh start, come and join our team. We know you’ll get off to a flying start!
A typical week may involve working on a site ensuring the safety of our customers’ staff, their buildings and assets, and providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:
- Building relationships with employers and community organisations
- Working as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
- An opportunity to work a stable shift pattern at a prominent site in Liverpool.
- A wide variety to the job including gatehouse duties, customer service and answering queries, conducting site and mobile patrols, reporting/logging of potential incidents and liaising with visitors face to face and via the phone

The Ideal Candidate

Whilst we welcome people who are already established within the industry, if you are looking to start your security career we are able to provide full SIA Security Guarding training!
Our contractual requirements mean that there are opportunities for a range of shift patterns and therefore you will need to be available to work Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays. Your shifts will primarily be days, however you will need to be flexible outside of that.
