Ward 4, Hexham General is a 30 bedded, single room ward. We provide medical care and rehabilitation for patients who are elderly , often with complex health needs and post stroke.

An opportunity has arisen for a nursing assistant to join our committed team. Our team is committed to providing high quality, safe care to our patients.

The successful applicant should have an interest in elderly care and stroke. They should also have excellent communication skills.

To work under the supervision of qualified staff, support band 2 healthcare assistants and assist in support various training positions.

To assist the qualified nursing staff to deliver a high quality and safe nursing care
