Position Description

An excellent opportunity has become available in the field of Air Handling Unit manufacture. Reporting to the Plant Manager, we require a self-driven, hardworking individual who’s main focus will be the inputting of sales orders for products and associated items on to SAP, whilst also being fully integrated into the wider order process within the business. Maintaining high standards of accuracy and communication will be critical for this role.

This role is part of job share and is therefore part time. Mandatory hours for the role are Monday 07:30 – 16:30 and Friday 07:30 – 12:30.
There would then be a requirement to work an additional day either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 07:30 – 16:30. Total hours = 22 hours.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Review order packages to breakdown additional costs per unit.
  • Input sales orders on to SAP and create requisition of materials codes per AHU.
  • Input order data into Sales Report.
  • Run credit checks on customers at time of order or prior as required.
  • Agree payment terms with customers if not already done so as part of commercial agreement.
  • Issue pro-forma invoices
  • Chase pro-forma payments
  • Chase overdue payments
  • Provide report to despatch of any customers on stop due to late / lack of payment to prevent orders being delivered without payment.
  • Chase debt for both Consett and Leeds sites.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Education & Qualifications

The successful candidate should have the following skills:

  • Experience using SAP
  • Have knowledge and experience of Microsoft IT systems
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Have good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Training will be provided for the right applicant to develop the skills and knowledge required for the position.
