We are offering the successful candidate the chance to learn as you earn! Working as part of our Purchase to Pay Team, you will be enrolled on the Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship scheme to allow you to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
This programme will combine dedicated workplace mentoring, on-the-job experience, access to high-quality online resources alongside an outstanding blended delivery model from our course provider. You will receive support not only from your mentor and team but also from your course tutor.
In this hybrid role, you will be able to work from home as well as at our Support Centre, and you will be given dedicated time to study (this will be allocated as 20% of your working week). You’ll study modules online with the requirement to sit the exams at one of the course providers test centres.
This role will be on an 18-month fixed term contract to enable you to complete the apprenticeship. Whilst a permanent role cannot be guaranteed at this stage, there may be opportunities beyond the initial 18 months This will be assessed throughout the programme.
As Payments and Controls Administrator, you will be assisting with the day to day operation of the payments and AP controls processes. The role will include processing payments, assisting with queries, and ensuring control of the purchase ledge in line with agreed processes and procedures.
You will have regular communication with key internal customers and escalate any business-critical issues.
You will work towards individual goals and objectives as well as helping to deliver services within service levels agreed.
How will I know if I am right for this role?
To be eligible for the course, you will need to have a minimum of 5 GCSES, including maths and English (at GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or a relevant level 2 qualification)
